Rohit “Ro” Khanna (D-CA) is typically a very moderate Democrat who has a pretty honest perspective of what is happening in the country and world. He is a pretty regular guest on FOX News because of his middle of the road stances, but today was not a typical day for the California Congressman, as his appearance on Fox on Sunday showed how much of the Kool-Aid he has been drinking of late. He has no use for ICE or the conflict in Iran and will not approve another Buffalo nickel for the war in Iran or the DHS as long as ICE is involved. We have seen four incidents this week involving schools and places of worship that may have had different outcomes or not happened at all if DHS were funded and fully active. Again, the Democrats don’t understand the situation, and their stance is not in the best interest of the country or its people. It is disappointing to hear Khanna spewing the Party line instead of his own thoughts.

The Congressman referred to the action in Iran as illegal, unnecessary, and a failure. That makes him 0 for 3 in this conversation, and disqualifies him from addressing the matters. The President was well within his Constitutional authority to attack Iran, he has his head in the sand if he does not see Iran as an immediate threat ,and 12 casualties in an action of this magnitude do not make it a failure. 12 casualties sounds like a three day weekend in Chicago. Is he prepared to call Chicago a failure? Not a fair question because Chicago is a failure on many fronts. ICE is not killing Americans. If not for the protests that are funded by far-left radical groups and the rhetoric spewed by Democrats that is fueling the protests, there would be no deaths as a result of ICE activities.

New York City saw twenty homeless people die during the last snowstorm and cold wave. Are the Democrats looking to defund Mayor Mamdani for his failure to protect these people on the streets? Between 2021 and 2024, approximately 30 children died each year in Maine who were known to the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). Where is the uproar on those situations, but lose 12 people in a WAR!!!!!, and the Democrats cry failure.

One last comment on Ro Khanna’s absurd remarks. He claimed that their was no imminent threat to the American homeland because Iran has no ICBM capabilities that would reach the United States. What about the danger to our assets in the Middle East? What about the danger to Israel? What about the danger to our NATO allies? Are none of these considerations for eliminating the Iran nuclear threat, or should we have gutted two commercial jets, raided the cash reserves of every local bank, and given Iran pallets of cash. Oh, I’m sorry, that technique had already been tried by the Obama/Biden administrtation.
