Bear Pond Conservative Chronicles, Ray Cardello, 7/29/24, Volume 1-30
There is something not quite kosher about the illegal Chinese marijuana growers in Maine. Because of the hard work of the Maine Wire, a conservative online news site, we have the addresses of all known operations throughout central Maine. At last count, over 200 “farms” were operating in the Pine Tree State. These are not your conventional salt-of-the-earth farms. These illegal pot farms are residential homes bought by the cartel and modified to allow hundreds of cannabis plants to be grown under one roof. Windows were covered, extra electrical service was brought in, heat pumps were installed, and slave labor was placed on the premises to man the operation. These operations blend into the neighborhoods, but the smell of pot and the unusual traffic are impossible for neighbors to ignore.
We know from some of the farms shut down by local and state police teams that the people working in a specific location are not free to leave. Supplies are brought in as the harvested pot is removed, and there will be no contact with the outside world. This is not only about growing and transporting illegal pot but human and sex trafficking, too. In the early months of this year, it was commonplace to read about at least one successful raid per week by members of local and county police, and we were confident that this Chinese-sponsored statewide effort would soon be eradicated. But something didn’t seem right.
Maine is not the only state dealing with this foreign dilemma. Thousands of these farms are scattered across many states, especially in the mid and southwest. State governments are frustrated at the lack of concern by federal authorities to intervene. Though dozens of Congressional members signed a joint letter to Merrick Garland requesting help from the DOJ and DHS, the cries for help were ignored. In April, the weekly reports of operations busted and shut down stopped. These illegal enterprises were still operating, neighborhoods were still threatened and living in fear, but something had happened. There is only one viable reason for this abrupt change in law enforcement’s battle to control another facet of our border breakdown. The Biden administration, including the Attorney General and Homeland Security Secretary, refused to get involved in bringing these functions to justice and told the individual states to stand down and let these farms continue to operate.
We know that China has manipulated Biden throughout his presidency. He claims to have a long and solid relationship with Xi Jinping, but it is one-sided. Biden has never called out or condemned China for any of its egregious actions towards America. From its threats to Taiwan, interaction with Iran, launching a spy balloon over America, the production of Fentanyl killing 100,000 Americans yearly, its human rights violations, violating our airspace with Russia this month, and, of course, the COVID Pandemic, Biden has been weak on every single issue. It would come as no surprise if Xi told Biden to look away at the number of Chinese illegally crossing our border and setting up illegal operations throughout our land. Biden is allowing China to threaten our national security and our sovereignty because his family has accepted millions in payoffs from the Chinese government and businesses. Maine turns to Washington for help, only to be told by Biden that there is nothing to see here. Thanks, Joe, for nothing.
