Oh, Janet, I can tell by your actions of late that you are a bit confused about your role. You were able to parlay your political career to a seat in the corner office in Augusta, but that seat comes with responsibility, not privilege, as you see it. There are 1.4 million people in Maine, which is not very large at all by population but is rich in beauty and tradition. The way the political world spins these days, half the people in the state may support you, but the other half wonder when your train left the tracks. Regardless of the split in ideology, you are supposed to represent every one of us, and right now, you are failing miserably. You have gone so far Left, that you can not even see us waving for attention over her on the Right. We fear you had to turn in your common sense card on the way to the land of the Woke. Your judgment is blurred, and your decisions leave us shaking our heads. You definitely turned your back on us last week when you cast any semblance of respect aside and challenged, no, you attacked our President in his own house. Did you even think for a minute that it would end well? I didn’t think so. This president will make sure that you not only come to your senses but never enjoy another political seat in the future. You signed your end-of-career card when you told Donald Trump you would see him in court. Joe Biden went down that path with his entire Justice Department. How did that work out? I think Trump is enjoying his second term in the White House, and not even Joe knows where he is.
I read the headline today that you are now on Pam Bondi’s radar. Oh my, Janet, Pam may seem like a nice lady, but there is pure pit bull under her pretty facade, and she has your scent. Bondi will not give up until you take that medal away from that male pole vaulter and put it around the neck of the young lady on the second step of the podium. We all know that she was the real winner because it was the girl’s pole vault championship, not the mixed doubles. Pam Bondi is just the first wave of the federal attack on Maine. Donald Trump is going to give you a civic lesson. See, you told him you follow state and federal law, but you had no clue that Trump’s EOs are federal law. You will now, and the lesson will be painful. How well do you see the education department working over the next two years without $500 Million in Federal Aid? Not only will the Republicans be all over you, but the Democrats and Teachers Union, too. I am not sure, but I bet you wish you could go back in time and keep your mouth shut this time? That’s a shame. It’s too late, and you got the fight you did not want. And, by the way, you better get a grip on your friends in the House. This foolish Censuring of Laurel Libby has legs, and your name will be pillaged for weeks on FOX and SKY News. Wow, for a state with little significance to the country, you sure have made a mess. How about you pick up the microphone you enjoy so much and utter, “Clean up in Aisle 6, and the Governor has left the Statehouse.” That might get you some redemption.
