Harris/Walz campaign surrogate Representative Jason Crow (D-CO) showed on Sunday morning with Shannon Bream just how much and well they can lie to defend both members of the ticket for president of the United States.

This is the first time I have seen or heard Crow, but after listening to his rhetoric for fifteen minutes, he would be more appropriately named “Bull.” He not only refused to answer a direct question, he obviously had been schooled in the art of gaslighting and giving sound bites the DNC could use instead of the truth.

We can break his session into two parts. First, let’s look at his comments regarding the military record of vice president candidate Tim Walz. Walz misrepresented his service last week by referring to his time in combat. Walz never served in combat, so any reference to his combat experience is an outright exaggeration of his record and a lie. Nothing is more disrespectful to his fellow guardsmen than lying about one’s experience. The guards he served with went off to the Middle East, but they did so without their highest-ranking leader, who opted to retire rather than go to a war zone. But that did not stop Crow from defending Walz. He explained how difficult it is to serve in a hot spot, and Walz’s 24 years of service should not be denigrated. Nobody is downplaying the quarter century of service, but as we did with Senator Blumenthal (D-CT) when he lied about his service in Vietnam, we will call him out. There is no excuse for lying. Tim Walz is a radical progressive who indeed spent more time on his 30 trips to China than the zero days he spent in the Middle East. It is pathetic how Democrats can rally behind someone who has said or done something that should disqualify them from candidacy.

Crow then went on to perform his pre-rehearsed cheerleading routine for Kamala Harris. He defended her refusal to answer questions from the media as her schedule has not allowed it. Again, his name should be Bull. He claimed she had only been the candidate for five days. It is true she officially had enough delegates five days ago, but she has been on the campaign trail for nearly three weeks, and she named Walz before she was “officially’ the candidate. It is disgusting when these politicians think we are stupid and ignorant of the facts. He said we are all clear on her policies, and she does not need to reinforce them to the media. We do not know where she stands as she has indicated that many of her policies have changed since being Biden’s VP.

He also went on to say that VP Harris is the most capable and ready person to become President of the United States and Leader of the Free World. On what scale can he make this claim? She has done nothing as VP and has limited foreign policy experience. She was the last person in the room when Biden decided on the failed abandonment of Afghanistan. He can probably say the same for Dr. Jill if that qualifies her for president. These people are intent on making the United States the joke of the world. I was in Canada last week and asked a local businessman if Canadians had lost respect for America. He chuckled and reminded me of the Canadian politics debacle but pulled himself together to say it was worse than losing respect. Most Canadians feel sorry for America. Thanks, Kamala and Joe, for destroying our standing on the world stage in just three years. Just imagine another four years under a Harris presidency.
