Inflation Hits Presidential Campaign, Kamala Cost $1.2 Billion

By Ray Cardello for November 5, 2024, Season 29 / Post 37

The Kamala Harris campaign raised a record $1.2 billion in contributions. The Democrats will tell you that most donations are five or ten dollars. But to raise over one billion dollars for a 100-day campaign, anyone with a brain knows the millionaires and billionaires on both coasts had their pens flying across their checkbooks. The Democrat Party is now the choice of Wall Street, Silicone Vally, and Hollywood, and these elites spared nothing to get their chosen one elected. In this case, Chosen has deep meaning as Kamala Harris did not receive a single primary vote or win any state primaries. Kamala Harris may have permanently damaged the election process. In the future, the elites may just tell us who they want for a candidate, and we will skip the debates, elections, and, oh yeah, the vote and will of American voters.

What candidate did these donors get for their money? After over three months on the stump, Kamala Harris is still trying to define her identity, which makes it all the more curious how the polls can be so close. She has told voters that she will not change a thing from her four years with Joe Biden, yet she dramatically extorts America to “Turn the Page.” But what are we to turn the page from? She is in office now, and Democrats have been in control for 12 of the last 16 years. Why would we keep Kamala Harris in the White House and give her the keys if we need a new start? Harris has not been able to point to any accomplishment from the last four years as a success. The economy, the border, wars around the globe, and inflation are still putting pressure on America and Americans.

She condemned fracking, and now she is in favor of the process, but nobody is buying that flip. She will still push the green agenda, alternative energy, and EV mandates, even though Americans have shown no desire to discard their gas-burning cars. The giveaways of the last few years fueled the historic inflation we are burdened with, and she has more planned. The $25,000 tax credit for first-time homeowners will simply increase the cost of the home. Is this fair to do, and what does that do for people who bought this year or four years from now? This is a vote-buying policy, as is her proposal of $50,000 for new small businesses. The way retail marijuana shops are opening up in New England, she better have her checkbook open.

We know she will keep the border open, push the path to citizenship, and end the filibuster to make passage of her radical policies smoother and quicker. She will continue to push for policies that will enhance the power base of the Democrat Party. She started her campaign with joy and hope but ended quickly with hate and division. Whether it was Kamala, Tim, Joe, Mark, Kathy, or any other surrogate who demeaned Trump supporters or Republicans en masse, these people hate Republicans, and they can say anything to mask it, but none of it works. The rage is obvious and should scare every American, especially if this woman pulls this campaign off.
