Kamala Harris showed this week that she is not now, or was ever, ready for Prime Time. In her first “interview” since her election loss to Donald Trump, Kamala sat down with lame duck late night host Stephen Colbert. It was neither a hard-hitting interview nor an eventful evening as Harris showed she has not improved since her word salad campaign. It was clear that the sole purpose of the appearance was to sell her new book, which she referred to dozens of times, and not discuss her loss to Trump or decision not to run for Governor of California. When asked a question that beckoned a straight answer, she dodged it like a rookie running back fighting for a spot on the team. Colbert asked her to name the leader of the Democratic Party. It is an easy question and calls for one name. She claimed there are many and did not want to name them for fear of missing some. It was a bush moment and showed she has no spine. The correct answer is that there is no leader, period. This night was a non-event, highlighting two people who do not belong in the spotlight and are not worthy of our attention. The only interview I want to see Kamala Harris participate in is in front of Congress, where she will be asked, under oath, about her involvement in the Joe Biden conspiracy and who was running the White House during his term.
There is another story circulating that connects Harris to the Biden Team. Apparently, there is a fear on the Biden side that Kamala will break and spill her knowledge of the inner workings of the Biden White House that would blow the lid off the conspiracy theory and make it real. To combat that possibility, the Biden side has threatened the Harris side with an all-out assault against the former vice president, exposing the ineptitude of her performance of her duties. This scenario is either a high-stakes Mexican stand-off or an old-fashioned schoolyard snowball fight. Half the country knows, and the other half foolishly still denies, how incapable both Biden and Harris were to be the A-Team in the White House. Exposing the facts will only bolster our view, and the other side will deny them to their death.
Seeing Kamala and Stephen together was a perfect symbol of the last four years. We had people of little talent and experience in positions of government and media who did not belong. The Washington machine hoodwinked the American people, but the people brought it on themselves. If, as claimed, 81 million people voted for Biden/Harris, then that is far too many ignorant people with access to a ballot. These people were not voting for someone, but against someone. You could have had Jerry Nadler and Adam Schiff running against Trump, and the same 81 million would have pulled the lever for the joker and liar. America wasted four years, but in the final analysis, Donald Trump used those four years to hone his political skills and get his team ready. The next four years of progress and prosperity will help us forget the irrelevant Joe, Kamala, and even Stephen.
