Is It Chaos Or Productivity

By Ray Cardello for May 2, 2025, Season 32 / Post 2

Spend a few minutes on CNN or MSNBC, and you will not be making any long-range plans. Every one of these dour hosts or guests has America at an existential moment where, at any second, we will cease to exist. First, I thought that existential was one of last year’s words. If the Democrats are already cycling words, then they have even less to their character than we thought. Next, the Left is blaming our inherent catastrophic demise on the chaos generated by the Trump administration. Chuck Schumer gave a lesson on chaos the other day in the well of the Senate. I think he was alone, but he had a microphone and camera, so he thought he was as cool as Sandy Cortez. Chuck did not define chaos but explained it has five letters, just like T-r-u-m-p. What he did not disclose is that so does C-H-U-C-K, oops. Anyway, the Democrats and media have agreed this week to use chaos in every other sentence. The only problem is that the American people do not see chaos in the White House but rather activity and productivity. No one will ever accuse Democrats of being productive. They are obstructionists.

The Trump administration is moving at such a dizzying pace with Trump signing executive orders, Karoline dazzling the press at briefings, Musk and DOGE finding waste and fraud behind every door, and the cabinet cooperating and getting things done every day. The Democrats cannot keep up. The media and press cannot keep up. So, rather than try to understand or work with the administration, they would rather scream at rallies, sing off-tune on the Capitol steps, or rant on talk shows to the rhythm of the bobbing, talking heads. They have no plan, no direction, and absolutely no leader. Chuck Schumer is down to 17%. Any lower, and they will need to check his pulse.

There is one contributor for MSNBC, Eddie Glaude Jr., who is as hyperbolic, inflammatory, and unrealistic as possible, which probably aligns with him being a professor at Princeton. Anyone who has to reinforce that he is not hyperbolic multiple times in one paragraph is certainly hyperbolic. He addressed Trump’s first 100 days and claimed we are on the precipice. Our democracy is under threat and, more importantly, under siege. Donald Trump has expressed his unitary vision of executive power, and his is an imperial presidency. He runs roughshod over the separation of powers and does not care about three equal branches of government. We are in a Constitutional crisis, and the question is, will the American people allow it? Our democracy is in real peril at this point.

Now, other than the fact that Eddie is just filling time with words of anger and fear, he does not say anything. He offered no basis for his assertion we are on the brink of collapse or what Trump was doing in violation of the Constitution. That is because the Democrats are using the tactics of misdirection, projection, and fear-mongering, and the media is complicit.

Donald Trump is delivering on every promise he made, and the American people elected him. His team is in sync and producing results daily. The media was apoplectic that Trump is having his full cabinet offer a recap of weekly results in an open forum with cameras rolling. This practice is done because the media will never report on results, only failures. The Trump team has to use these transparent events to get the message directly to the people. There have been four such cabilnet events in the first 100 days which is more meetings than Biden held in four years. That is why the Democrats call it chaos because they do not recognize results.
