Jeanne Shaheen Exposed How Democrats Cannot See the Truth

Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) is one of the ranking members of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. She appeared on FOX News this morning and showed a sad lack of logic in her assessment of the apprehension of Nicolas Maduro and his wife. Lawrence Jones pointed out Shaheen’s record on human rights and the impact of illegal drugs on the world, and asked why she could not support the removal of Maduro. Though she praised the U.S. military for a precision operation, she needs to see what comes next before she can decide if Trump’s actions were justified. The question was simple, Senator. Is the world safer with Maduro in jail rather than in power? The answer is equally simple: yes.

She then went on to claim that her constituents in New Hampshire want the President concentrating on America and not being distracted by corrupt foreign heads like Maduro. She said that New Hampshire residents want Trump to work on lowering living and healthcare costs. There are multiple issues with her answers. I am a NH resident, and I know that Donald Trump is working to lower costs at the grocery store, to lower costs at the pump, and to reduce healthcare costs. Shaheen has been a Senator since 2011 and should be well aware that Joe Biden’s policies led to the highest inflation in history and some of the highest gas prices at the pump. She should also know that it is ObamaCare that is ballooning out of control and raising healthcare costs, as the government subsidies expire in 2026, as planned in the bill. She also should recognize that the illegal drug trafficking of Maduro, as well as the Fentanyl of China and Mexico, is killing hundreds of thousands of Americans per year. How does that not impact America and Americans?

Her answers were poor and her logic flawed. She showed how different it is that a Republican President can concentrate on multiple issues while the Democrats are stuck on one, and that is contesting Trump at every opportunity. Trump was correct the other day when he said it would be beneficial if just once, the Democrats admitted a successful Trump initiative, but they cannot. They all suffer from TDS, and the only thing they have proven is that they have no solutions, only criticism.

I wish Jones had asked the Senator about the indictments the Biden administration had issued against Maduro and, if apprehending Maduro is wrong, what was the purpose of those legal warrants? One of the problems Democrats have with Trump is that he does what he says he is going to do. He acts on behalf of the American people, and this concept is foreign to Democrats.

Senator Shaheen did not present herself well this morning and did not make me proud to be my senior Senator. She is retiring after this current term, and that is a good thing for New Hampshire. With her leaving Washington and Representative Pappas leaving his seat to run for Shaheen’s Senate slot, Republicans may be able to flip two of our federal officials and take a step back toward a Red New Hampshire. The Granite State had its most successful times under Republican leadership, and it is good to see us heading in that direction.
