Oh, how the winds have changed. When Elon Musk was simply making electric vehicles or digging tunnels to relieve traffic congestion, he was a darling of the Left. When Musk was launching rockets into space or putting his Star Link satellites over Ukraine so they could still have access to the internet, he was Noble Peace Prize material. Now that he is emptying the ugly closets of Twitter, Elon Musk is Public Enemy #1 and maybe the most hated man since Donald Trump took the down escalator. What a fickle bunch these Lefties are.
I was listening to comments from some Congressman the other day, his name is immaterial, and he was explaining how dangerous it is to National Security to have someone so connected to the Chinese owning a Social Media Platform. I get so frustrated when the person holding the microphone does not come back at such a stupid, irrational, and hypocritical statement. The United States government partners with Elon Musk and his space exploration company. There is no concern about him sharing aerospace technology with the Chinese but paranoia abounds that the Chinese might influence a tweet or two.
This weekend, Musk started to divulge information about the suppression of any info about Hunter Biden, his money dealings with foreign countries, and the amount of contact Joe Biden has with his son regarding their money laundering schemes. Since the campaign trail, Joe has told us that he has never spoken with Hunter about the family business. Since we know that Joe has the propensity to bend the truth (lie), we can bet they had daily briefings.
The Republicans in the House are posturing to get to the bottom of the Biden cesspool in January. The actions of the Administration, Justice Department, and the FBI indicate they are taking defensive positions. They know what is about to happen. Hopefully, it is the fires of hell coming down on Biden and everyone complicit in this scheme to bilk governments, foreign companies, and families of foreign officials out of millions and leave us with a compromised President.
I admit I was not sure that Kevin McCarthy would be a strong enough Speaker to bring about the changes and resistance needed to correct as much of the Biden Presidency as possible. He is showing a toughness I have never seen in him, and it is welcome, and hopefully, the Republicans will fall in line behind him. It is not just about the investigations. Those will happen starting on January 3. It is having the guts to stand up to the President and Chuck Schumer. It’s getting what we need if any bill is to get to the big desk.
A couple of examples is McCarthy telling Biden that his Defense plan would not move forward unless the military vaccine mandate is dropped. He will also stop the endless supply of money going to Ukraine unless we get accountability for where it is spent. The student loan forgiveness and the 87,000 new IRS armed agents will not see the light of day. The adults are back in the room, and they better act like it.
