It will be a breath of fresh air when Nancy Pelosi finally decides to yield her seat to a younger generation. She should have stepped down when she lost her Speaker’s gig, but there is far too much to gain by being in the House. Not only does she financially enhance family and friends by securing high-paying staff positions, but with all the insider information she garners, she and her husband have one of the best-performing portfolios in the country. All politicians suffer a credibility issue, but Pelosi is at her most credible when it comes to children. Pelosi loves to wave her hands and proclaim her career in public office is all about the children, but don’t watch what Nancy says or signs, but what she does. Nancy Pelosi could not care less about children than what her policies and actions tell us.

First and most offensive is Pelosi’s stand on abortion. She ignores her Catholic religion by supporting abortion, but her support is fanatical. She aligns with her Party when they support elective abortion up to the moment of birth and euthanasia after birth if that is the wish of the mother. Combine abortions and the inability of today’s parents to afford children, and you can understand why the population of Americans is declining. Apparently, these were not the children that Nancy was speaking of. But, Nancy Pelosi adores children. She tells us so every chance she gets.

As many as 300,000 unaccompanied children were lost in the four years of Biden’s Presidency. You would be hard-pressed to find any comments or concerns from Nancy Pelosi urging Joe Biden to modify our efforts at the border or find these children and reunite them with their parents. We know that most of these children do not have parents in the United States and are the possession of the cartel that facilitated their being here. These children are now sex or labor slaves. Apparently, these were not the children that Nancy was speaking of.

Did you ever hear Nancy Pelosi cry for help for the young girls exploited and abused by rich and powerful men who journeyed to Epstein Island to hunt young girls? How about the hundreds of children who have been recovered working in food processing plants or picking produce in the fields of California? Many of these children have no legal guardians and are actually slaves to the people who financed their journey across our border.

And then there is Pelosi’s unwavering support for the Department of Education and the teachers’ union. Both entities have done more harm than good, indoctrinating rather than educating our children for decades.
What has Nancy’s support of education gotten us? Well, the Department of Education was created by Jimmy Carter (need we say more) in 1975. Since its inception, we have spent over $3 Trillion and watched our children’s test scores drop precipitously every decade since. Our dropout rates have risen, and we are graduating generations of children who cannot read or do basic math. Harvard offered a remedial reading class this year for incoming Freshmen. This is a school that only accepts the best of the best, and yet these elite students need help reading. We have failed our children for the last 50 years, but we have built a hierarchy that employs thousands to make education great in America. Apparently, these were not the children that Nancy was speaking of.

Nancy, it is time for you to call it a day, just like you forced Joe Biden to do last year. You, Maxine Waters, Chuck Schumer, Mitch McConnell, and so many of the lifetime politicians on both sides of the aisle are the poster children for term limits, and, yes, apparently, these were not the children that you were speaking of either. You have conned many, but not all of us.
