Words have consequences, and when those words evolve into action, the person who spoke the words needs to be held accountable. As much as the Left wants to include the Right in this battle of words, the Left owns this game, and if they cannot control it or do not want to control it, then we must find a way to do that for them.
It became very fashionable during the Biden administration for the Left to label Donald Trump and anyone who supported him as a fascist. Let’s first look at the actual definition of the term fascist:
Fascism: a populist political philosophy, movement, or regime that exalts the nation and often race above the individual, that is associated with a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, and that is characterized by severe economic and social regimentation and by forcible suppression of opposition
Historical Fascists: Benito Mussolini, Adolf Hitler, and Francisco Franco.
I would challenge anyone to prove how Donald Trump aligns with the definition or compares with the three most famous fascists in history. But that does not matter to the Democrats. They know that their followers would not research the term. They are only concerned with the effect that using the term has on their impressionable followers, who may take action to eliminate the fascist threat. For proof, look to the engravings on the shells used by Charlie Kirk’s alleged killer. One of them read: Hey Fascist, Catch. The name calling started during Trump’s first term, when Chuck Schumer took to the steps of the Supreme Court and called out the conservative justices after the repeal of Roe v. Wade. You also had the likes of Maxine Waters telling her constituents to get in the faces of Republicans. Well, they are no longer just calling them out; they are now shooting them.
Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, Ilhan Omar, and Sandy Ocasio-Cortez are all on record calling Donald Trump a fascist and an existential threat to our democracy. It does not matter if the facts are accurate; it is the effect that these irresponsible politicians are aiming for. With the combination of inciting followers with the rhetoric and labeling, along with the dehumanization of people on the Right, it is now amenable to the Left to assassinate political foes. The Left has created an assassination culture that not only approves of killing opponents but turns the killer into a folk hero. Look at the spectacle outside the New York courthouse yesterday as dozens of deranged individuals celebrated as charges against Luigi Mangione were dropped. Chants of Free Luigi rang out as the costumed crowd hugged each other in their sick joy. This man obviously gunned down, in cold blood, the CEO of United Health, and these people see Luigi as the oppressed and their hero. Give me an example of one situation where the Right is celebrating the shooting or death of a political opponent. I’ll wait.
Guaranteed, there will be money flowing in for the defense of Charlie Kirk’s shooter. The difference now is that Kash Patel and the FBI will be following the money. How long do you think it will take to trace that money back to George Soros, or his even more progressive son? A New York Minute is my guess and from what Trump said this week, RICO charges may await those canceled checks. The Left may have invented cancel culture, but it will be the Right that will turbocharge it, and these people of false power will quickly see the power of the people and of Good. Evil will stand no chance against the fury they have unleashed. Damn, it is about time.
