For the second time in the last couple of weeks, hell has frozen over. I watch the political scene very closely, sometimes to my own demise. The politics of our nation have been turned upside down, and are taking America and Americans with it. I wrote a short time ago about the bizarre situation in which I found myself on the same side of an issue as Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz. This was when Schultz, as her constituents had taken to the streets to celebrate President Donald Trump’s action against Nicolas Maduro, had no choice but to speak out in favor of the President’s actions in Venezuela. Hell was chilly that day.

Tonight, as we are watching the anarchy of paid protesters harassing and assaulting ICE officers in Minneapolis, the nightly news was overloaded with video clips of protesters throwing objects at, getting in the face of, and using their vehicles as a weapon, attempting to harm ICE agents. The discussion turned toward the Left’s support of the Somali fraudsters, the illegal alien criminals who now call Minnesota home, and even the transgender athletes looking for the Supreme Court to allow them to play in female sports. This world on the Left side is not normal by anyone’s standards.

The reporting took a historical path as videos of Bill Clinton in 1995, and Barack Obama in 2014 showed the two former Democratic Presidents calling for an increase in deportations of illegal aliens. They both spoke about the danger these people presented to our cities and towns. Coming to our country illegally gave us no option but to turn these people around and return them to their country of origin. Never in my wildest fantasies could I envision myself wanting a reprise of the days when Democrats were not only more in the center of the road, but they did not openly hate America. It wasn’t until a bit later that we found out how much damage Obama did to America, but he talked a good game back in 2014.

I am having difficulty ascertaining whether Democrats are incompetent or deceitful. We know that lying is as prevalent on the Left as TDS, but this illness has reached new heights, or should I say, lows, when it comes to credibility. We have beaten up on Minnesota, but something came out today that was beyond head-shaking. AG Ellison, who is on tape exchanging political favors for turning a blind eye to the fraud scheme under his watch for the last decade, has indicated he will run for the Governor’s office to replace the feckless Tim Walz. Ellison should be resigning in disgrace, yet he sees himself as teflon-coated and far above the law he swore to uphold. Whether in the AG’s or the Governor’s office, the DOJ will eventually find this thief.

Governor Janet Mills of Maine is of the same ilk as Ellison. Mills and her brother should be in jail for the corruption they have perpetrated on the good people of Maine, but she is not done sucking every bit of power she can, as she is running to contest Susan Collins for her Senate seat in 2026. With a combined age of 153, it is a stretch to call this contest a race. It may be more of a pub crawl.

Sandy Cortez, who has proven to be a stranger to the truth, was on a talk show last week, reliving her fantasy of January 6. It has been well documented, from the many times Cortez has tried to play the victim on this terrible day, that she was not even present in the Capitol on that dark day. But on this occasion, it was particularly egregious. She was not only claiming an intense fear that she was going to die at the hands of the insurgents blocks away, but she was sure the hordes of angry, unarmed invaders would rape her. The facial expressions were priceless, and this immature and inept Congresswoman thinks she can win the presidency in 2028. Is she delusional or simply stupid? BTW, what can we say about the interviewer that day who allowed Cortez to lie and never challenged the Representatives’ comments.

Hakeem Jeffries makes us question whether anyone on the Left side of the House can prove they are worthy to sit in the House chambers. As the leader of the minority, he addresses the press weekly, and having nothing to report on Democratic policies or actions, he spends this time spewing lies and whatever hits his lips on the destructive actions of our President. This week, he was ranting about how out of control our economy is and how Trump lied about what he was going to do about it. Well, the numbers don’t back you up, Hakeem, so take a seat. Not only are prices down, but inflation has returned to around 2%. That is 17 points lower than Biden. Since prices are hard to bring down after an inflationary period, it is excellent news that wages are up for the first time in nearly five years. Gas prices continue to drop steadily, and the trend is for them to continue to work towards the $2 range, which is nearly half of the average under Biden. So, Hakeem, maybe your followers on MSNOW and CNN listen to you, but there are over 70 million people who see right through your hand signals and know you are an outright liar.

There are many more examples on the Left, but I have to stop somewhere. We will leave Chuck alone this week.
