The Trump effort to clean up the cesspool, which is our Capitol, Washington, D.C., is in its early stages, but showing terrific results. The car-jackings have dropped off considerably, as have personal assaults and robberies. It is difficult to put actual numbers to these results, because crime figures around the country have become totally unreliable. In an effort to minimize the impact of high crime rates, Blue cities and states have gone to not reporting crimes, downgrading crimes, not prosecuting crimes, and flat-out ignoring crimes. After all, if nobody hears the screams, sees the blood, calls the cops, and the dead man doesn’t talk, did the crime actually happen? Not in D.C., Chicago, Los Angeles, Portland, Minneapolis, Baltimore. Do you get the picture? Democrats can manipulate crime data just like they do gerrymandering a state map.

On Wednesday, Vice President JD Vance joined Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and White House Deputy Chief of Staff Steven Miller for a field trip to Union Station, where they got a cup of coffee and met some of the National Guard deployed to take back D.C.. The scene was anything but welcoming for the trio, as they were met by the angst of the young progressive idiots filling the station waiting for a train ride somewhere. It was a deplorable sight, and really quite embarrassing for the uneducated young folk who were spewing epithets as rich as the cream in their Grande Mocha Lattes from Starbucks.

Screaming out phrases like Nazi, Hitler, Racist, and various colloquialisms of the gutter they could muster on demand, they were in stark contrast to the three well-dressed gentlemen who wanted to thank some guards and buy them a coffee. Vance put on his best smile, looked at the mass of inhumanity, nodded his head, and said he heard them loud and clear.

The hypocrisy is that without the troop presence ordered by Trump and carried out by the three men walking, these overgrown adolescents would not be able to walk freely around Union Station. They would have had to be looking over their shoulders as they left their flats to get to the station. They may have even been able to drive their car to Union Station without fear of having their
vehicle hijacked on the way to purchase their over-priced Americano (just say cream and sugar, please). These kids are a product of the defund the police generation. They have been thoroughly indoctrinated and will not be able to think on their own until AI comes along and eliminates their six-figure income, and they realize they have no marketable skills.

Trump took action within the Constitution’s framework to deploy the National Guard for an initial 30-day period, assisting local law enforcement in restoring safety and calm to the Capitol. He will need Congressional approval to extend the stay, and that should happen as soon as Congress is back from vacation. Notice that Congress and SCOTUS are on vacation, while Trump is still working 20-hour days to restore world peace and civility to our big cities? No, but throw in a round of golf anywhere, and see how quickly the media will call him a slacker. Had Mayor Muriel Bower been doing her job, there would be no need for any of these happenings, but that is the problem. Public safety has dropped far down the list of priorities for Blue Mayors and Governors, well below ensuring sanctuary status for illegals. This upside-down thinking will only worsen if cities like New York and Minneapolis elect Socialists, a scenario that appears increasingly likely in November. How will Governor Hochul be treated when she has to send in the National Guard again, like she did in 2023? I am sure she will not be called the same Nazi or Hitler that Trump and his team must listen to.
