I was born at the tail end of the Baby Boomer generation. We are the children of the Greatest Generation, who were the young men and women who stepped up and saved the world from the global attacks of Germany and Japan. We may be the last generation of Americans to have a sense of patriotism and love of country. We may be the last generation to know how lucky we were to be born in the greatest nation on earth. Perhaps in retrospect, we were naive, but we still looked up to our elders and people in authority, and had respect for those in positions of power, with the ultimate authority being the President of the United States. We felt the sting of betrayal of Richard Nixon, the malaise of Jimmy Carter, and the disrespect of the office by Bill Clinton. But we still had faith that the person who occupied the Oval Office, whether our choice or not, was there to serve the best interests of the United States of America. The relentless attacks to destroy Donald Trump chipped away at our faith, but what we witnessed between his reelection being stolen from President Trump and his return to the White House in 2025 may have destroyed what remained of that faith.
From the day that Representative Jim Clyburn (D-SC) decided to hijack the Democratic primary and declare Joe Biden the presumptive nominee until January 19, 2025, the 46th Presidency of the United States had been a sham. Joe Biden was a convenient puppet that the establishment could use to steal the nomination away from Bernie Sanders, and the right Manchurian President that could be easily manipulated without recoil. The result of these actions was the biggest conspiracy in our history, where Americans have no idea who was the 46th President, but we do know it was not Joe Biden. As the string of staff come to the Capitol to testify about their knowledge of the coup, only to claim their Fifth Amendment rights, it is painfully clear we may never know the people responsible for stealing the Presidency. The aura that my generation surrounded the Presidency with has been destroyed forever.
Half the country blindly defended Joe Biden for four years, while those of us in the other half questioned the competence of Joe Biden every day he was in office. We saw an aged, feckless man who was not physically or mentally capable of fulfilling the duties of the President, but we were shut down by a complicit staff and media that covered up for the man and the sham.
We saw the ills of the Biden Administration from the botched pullout from Afghanistan, to opening our southern border, to bad economic decisions leading to the worst inflation in 50 years, and finally to his horrific debate performance and subsequent exit from his reelection bid. This man was never the actual Commander-in-Chief, but more the Paper Lion controlled by an unknown person or group.
This is a critical moment in time. We may never get the bottom of the Biden conspiracy, but we have to learn how it happened so that our Presidency is never stolen again in the future.
