It’s No Joke, But Joy Reid Is

By Ray Cardello for September 24, 2025, Season 32 / Post 45

“I will confess to you, Joy. I do not have all the answers,” said Kamala Harris to Joy Reid while appearing on the latter’s Late Show podcast. The truth is, she has none of the answers. I tortured myself and watched this entire stream because I was in awe at the presentation, demeanor, and even her dramatic interaction. I had to watch the train wreck, which is the Kamala Harris book tour. Reid ended the podcast by bragging about how impressive it was for her, on an independent network, to land such an influential person in Harris, and a historic moment discussing her just-released book, “107 Days.” Even to discuss her book, you will never find Kamala Harris anywhere near the FOX News headquarters, so her options are limited on liberal media.

The book might as well have been called “Burning Every Bridge,” for that is what Harris did with her writing —and now with her post-release comments. She closed her discussion with Reid by claiming her career is not over, her mission not done, but with what she has done with this book, she is done. She is trading the quick dollar of a tell-all book for her political future. I have already written about Harris, and this article is more about Joy Reid. Not that this person deserves the effort spent putting together an article, but what she said in her advertisement at the end of her podcast screams for attention, and not because there is anything positive in what she said.

At first, I was confused by the graphics and content. But then I was both shocked and appalled at how hateful and dark Joy Reid is, and she is obviously proud of her stand. She was speaking on behalf of the FFRF, the Freedom From Religion Foundation. Can this woman be any more out of touch with the America we have seen since the assassination of Charlie Kirk? Is there any wonder that she no longer has a platform on MSNBC? You have to stoop very low for MSNBC to take action, but she is now a voice in the void of the internet. She is calling for the abolishment of religion, claiming falsely that this was the desire of our forefathers. Our forefathers protected religion from government intervention. At a time when we are seeing a revival of faith, when we are seeing young people filling Sunday services, when we saw billions around the globe watch a five-hour revival, this out-of-tune woman is calling for the suppression of religion in all aspects of our lives.

The Left is afraid of religion, for it is antithetical to much of what they believe in. There is no religion in abortion, the mutilation of children, or same-sex marriage. This is why they need the idea of religion killed, especially with the young. Good luck with that when there are thousands of applications for new TPUSA chapters. The Left lost the men in 2024, and they now stand to lose the youth vote in 2026 and beyond. They may still have the gays and transgender people in their corner. You have to ask how anyone can be against the Ten Commandments. This list, carved onto stone tablets, of basic morals was given to Moses by Christ as a basic guide for life. Not for Joy, who obviously was wrongly named, for there is no joy in what she preaches, for her content is primarily hate for Conservatives, America, and people of faith. The final nail in the coffin for Joy was when she signed off, urging her followers to come back tomorrow, ‘same Bat time, same Bat channel.’ I’ll pass and never be back. Life is too short for this much hate.
