Unite Us? He Thinks We are Treasonous Racists!

Hillary Clinton might have won the 2016 election if she had not called half of America “Deplorables.” You can have disagreements with people and have differing political philosophies, but when you attack people’s character and talk down to them, you have lost them forever. Hillary has never been a likable person, but that one line sealed the deal for half of the country that has had enough of her quest for power.

Joe Biden had a lousy week. It is not hyperbole to say it might be the worst week, short of the time of war, a President has ever had. From his Build Back Better Bill being buried possibly forever, the snub on Tuesday by Stacey Abrams, the Supreme Court shutting down the private business mandates, the highest inflation numbers in forty years, his Vice President is continuing to embarrass herself, and the death of his attack on the filibuster. Nothing went right for Joe this week, and you can say that nothing has gone right in his first year.

On top of all of this negativity comes the latest poll numbers. According to Quinnipiac, Joe Biden’s approval rating has fallen to 33%. Wednesday’s tough poll numbers are attributed mainly to poor marks from independent voters. Fifty-seven percent said they disapproved of Biden’s job performance compared to 25 percent who approved.
Biden also saw his approval among Democrats dip from 87 percent in November to 75 percent in the latest poll. Among registered voters, 35 percent approved of Biden’s job performance, while 54 percent disapproved, according to the survey. These numbers were tabulated before this week from hell. We could easily see our Executive Duo in the 20’s next week.

Uniting the country was just a catchphrase for Candidate Biden. It sounded good and was what Americans needed to hear. He had no idea how nor intentions to follow through with his promise. The same is true for him defeating COVID. The country is suffering far more deaths under Biden than we did underTrump. Biden told Trump he should resign over the COVID fatalities. We are on the curve. Biden has no intention of resigning yet.

This week, Biden went on the offensive, taking every opportunity to label and insult the opposition. Biden compared Republicans and dissenting Democrats to George Wallace, Jefferson Davis, and Bull Connor. Interestingly, these three men were Democrats, as was Robert Byrd, a member of the KKK and eulogized by Joe Biden. It was unfortunate that Biden drew these comparisons, but why use Democrats from the past to make a point? It was a bad choice, a wrong time, and horrible delivery.

With a raised voice, pounding fists, and ill-timed insults, Joe Biden did himself no favors with Republicans, some Democrats, and surprisingly the media. He took criticism from Senator Dick Durbin, former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, Al Sharpton, CNN, and MSNBC. This was the first time that the left-leaning media voiced opposition to the actions of Biden. The sound of the mainstream media jumping off the Biden wagon was par for this week from hell.

Biden is off to his Delaware hideaway for the weekend, as usual. He should be using the time to evaluate his staff and who needs to be replaced. Ge will not do anything, and next week will not be any better. I believe what we see of the Biden Team is the best we can expect. How will they ever get in a position to make any progress in the next three years? It appears he will be bringing out the Big Pen this week. Not a good way to legislate but it is the Biden way.
