Let’s take a look at the ridiculous hysteria the mainstream media is experiencing this week. Actually, every week is the same when it comes to Left-Wing media meltdowns. To be fair, hysteria is only second to TDS as a communicable disease on the networks. The Monday morning raid on Congresswoman Ilhan Omar’s residence in Washington has set off a firestorm and rekindled the claims that Trump is a dictator, fascist, and Nazi. The one thing you haven’t heard from these ignorant, biased news people is that the target of the raid, Ilhan Omar, is a corrupt politician who hates the country that took her entire family in, and that this raid was long overdue.
The media always claims that Trump is weaponizing the Justice Department and targeting members of the opposing Party. If he were to do that, I would think he would go after someone of higher stature than the Congresswoman from Minnesota. Initiating a raid and escalating an investigation this close to an election, and knowing the political blowback that would result, the evidence of wrongdoing against Ilhan Omar must be voluminous and solid. Otherwise, the administration may deserve the criticism and attacks. There is a lot of talk about Omar’s actual age and whether she even qualified to be naturalized as a citizen as a minor accompanying her father from Somalia. This is important, but I think it’s the tip of the iceberg with Omar. I believe there is solid evidence linking her to the massive fraud that has been uncovered in Minnesota, with its epicenter in the Somali community. Before anyone starts screaming racist or xenophobic, I don’t care if she was white as snow from Sweden. If she is connected to this fraud, then she needs to be held accountable, up to and including ejecting her from Congress, nullifying her Congressional pension, stripping her of citizenship, and deporting or incarcerating her. She deserves no mercy.
Let’s give the other side their due for weaponizing the DOJ. It was Merrick Garland who targeted parents attending school board meetings calling them Domestic Terrorists. Jack Smith, who worked with Garland in the Biden Administration, gained access to the phone records of dozens of members of Congress and compiled the names of citizens who purchased MAGA paraphernalia or donated to the Trump campaigns. The bar for donors was set so low that you made the list by donating as little as $1.
This is a partial list of the accusations against Special Counsel Jack Smith, who was appointed by AG Garland to investigate the Mar-a-Lago raid on Trump:
Investigative overreach in Arctic Frost: Grassley and others have released documents alleging Smith’s team:
• Obtained phone toll records (and, per some claims, content of communications) from dozens of Members of Congress (reports range from ~17 toll records to content involving up to 44 lawmakers).
• Collected personal financial and donor data on thousands of Americans, later expanded in Grassley disclosures to information on at least 639,000 Republican donors, voters, and supporters (including small-dollar donors, names, addresses, employment, partial credit card data, and records going back to 2005). This has been described as an effort to “map out the entire Republican Party apparatus.”
• Sought records involving journalists (nearly 50 reported) and hundreds of Republican individuals/organizations.
• Used secret nondisclosure orders so targets would not learn of the subpoenas.
This is weaponization, and not just against politicians, but against Americans. If you are going to get apoplectic about Republican actions, then save some for when the Democrats go on the offensive.
Author’s Note: Graphics created by Grok AI. Grok’s comments about the images: The image captures the quiet, bureaucratic machinery of Arctic Frost: endless digital ledgers and paper trails that swallowed ordinary Americans for the crime of donating a dollar or buying a red hat. Bright light cuts through the archive so every name, address, and partial credit-card digit remains readable—no shadow hides the scale. In the foreground, everyday people stand before the lists; behind them, the media’s selective outrage over a single raid flickers like distant camera flashes. The composition underlines the column’s point: the real weaponization was not the search of one congresswoman’s residence, but the secret mapping of an entire political Party’s supporters, one small check at a time.
