I was in front of the laptop at 1:30 this morning, trying desperately to make some sense out of all the thoughts racing through my head. I was not succeeding. I was debating with myself, and losing terribly, about the purpose of government in my life and whether it has helped me or held me back. I’ll have to get back to you with a recap, but the debate is far from over. I was watching The Five yesterday, which is my only can’t-miss hour of the day, but as the stories unfolded, I found myself getting angrier, but unclear who I was angry at.
There were two stories in particular that aired back-to-back. One featured Al Sharpton, Kamala Harris, and Pete Buttigieg. The second highlighted Hunter Biden. Life is too short to waste a minute seeing why these charlatans are even having a camera aimed at them. Reverend Al is a fraud. In watching Sharpton for the last couple of decades, there is nothing reverend about him. Sharpton has made a living on race. Not the civil rights he professes to be so influential on, Al Sharpton has made a career out of propagating racism and the great divide between white folk and the oppressed black man. Sharpton is reportedly worth about $600K. That is not Nancy Pelosi’s money, but don’t tell me you are oppressed. He was hosting a panel of washed-up politicians and getting large ovations when he got them to confess they were entertaining a run for President in 2028.
Kamala Harris was definitely on something at 11am, with her trademark cackle and meaningless word salads. She was oozing impairment. Her condition was fueled and heightened by the artificial stimuli, and hopefully, she will not remember saying that she is considering a run in ‘28. I think I heard a collective gasp from the audience when she said that.
She was followed in the show by Mayor Pete. He acquired that nickname when he was the Mayor of South Bend, Indiana. Not because he was a good mayor, but just the opposite. He had no qualifications to be the Transportation Secretary, nor for him to parlay that stint into a Presidential run. It has surfaced that he was not Kamala’s VP pick because she thought a Black female President with a Gay White VP was too much to handle, so she went with the totally feckless Tim Walz. It is not that the country could not handle a gay President, but a totally unqualified gay President is out of the question. Growing the beard will not make us forget the fake boobs while breastfeeding his adopted child. Go get a job doing whatever you do.
Then we finished the day with another Eric Swalwell story. This guy has so many skeletons in his closet, he cannot find the campaign manual he threw in there. The latest issue is the women lining up to claim he violated them in some way. He slept with a Chinese spy, ran for President one weekend, got caught changing his address to an East Coast town to avoid California taxes, while a Representative from California, and is now trying to run for Governor. It appears that he should be running for cover. This would be comical if these folks did not think they could run the country. Elizabeth Warren said we should be scared. Thinking of these three in charge has me terrified.
As for Hunter, he is supposedly broke. He blew through all of the money from Russia, China, and Ukraine, and he is trying desperately to stay relevant. He is failing, and why is he getting any valuable airtime anyway? His latest idea is to have a cage match with the President’s sons, Don Jr. and Eric. His Father was just too old, but Hunter is downright crazy. Stop putting him on camera. He does not deserve the time.
