What is it that motivates a governor or president to care about illegal aliens over their constituents and citizens? What is it that motivates the same officials to not only ignore the laws, but to force law enforcement to do the same? To get the answer, we need to ask outgoing governor Janet Mills and former president Joe Biden. One is not answering those questions, and the other cannot remember. Under their watch, this pair elevated Maine to the third-worst state, behind only California and Minnesota, in the magnitude of tax dollars stolen from state and federal programs, but ultimately from you, the taxpayer. Don’t think that we can sit back and say that is Maine’s problem and doesn’t impact me in New Hampshire, Florida, or wherever. When these derelict officials allow fraudsters free rein to steal from Medicaid, Medicare, or SNAP, they are stealing from every taxpayer in America. Why isn’t America screaming, regardless of Party affiliation, for somebody to put a stop to the fraud, or better still, throw these officials out of office and the illegals out of the country?

Not only did Janet Mills elevate Maine to the third- highest tax burden in the country, but it is now the third-worst state for fraud. Thank God the people of Maine did not reward Mills with a pathway to the U.S. Senate. She will be out of the state house come January because of term limits, and Maine has a clear choice in November. They can elect a Republican to shake up this Democrat-controlled state or send Secretary of State Shenna Bellows, a protege of Mills, to Augusta to carry on with the Mills’ legacy of fraud and corruption. and bad governance.

Vice President Vance came to Maine this week and spoke to a large number of supporters in Bangor. He was here as the lead in President Trump’s war on fraud to announce that Maine is the latest target for the resources of the federal government to do what the state can’t or won’t do to solve the theft of millions of taxpayer dollars by illegals and nefarious Americans. Mills, Bellows, Plattner, and all the Democrats of Maine are upset about the outside interference from D.C., and what does that tell you? The Democrats are more concerned with the illegal population and those who are stealing millions, than they are about the law-abiding citizens of Maine. Maybe it is the power these politicians derive from allowing these groups to steal, or they too are dipping into government programs to enhance their retirement accounts, or a combination of both. Still, these people have to be removed from office as quickly as possible. We can involve the legal system tomorrow to prosecute them if warranted, but they have to be removed from positions of power today.

When these people steal from support programs, it has a multi-layer impact on all of us. Our money is gone, our taxes go up to cover the funds stolen, the people for whom the programs were intended to help do not get the aid, and these programs will face insolvency much sooner than planned.
