It will be a great day, and hopefully the start of the healing needed for the damage that Janet Mills inflicted on the State of Maine during her time as Governor, when she leaves the statehouse for the last time in January of 2027. Taxes are up, education results are down, illegal population is up, and the morale of most Mainers is at an all-time low, yet Janet Mills contends that she was just what Maine needed. Maine needed Mills, like an involuntary frontal lobotomy. In addition to the damage that may take decades to correct, the corruption by the Governor and her brother is just starting to unravel. Mills dropped out of the Senate race against Graham Platner, citing an inability to raise the funds needed to run a winning campaign. I think she sees the wave of accountability building off the coast, ready to pull her down like a riptide. The last thing Maine needs, in addition to the possibility of a self-proclaimed NAZI representing Maine in the Senate, is Janet Mills, or any of her protégés, continuing her legacy. Secretary of State, Shenna Bellows, sitting behind the Governor’s desk, would be Janet Mills-Part Deaux.

I watched one of Bellow’s TV spots and came away with the realization that this woman stood against a lot, but not for anything, and that seems to be the Democratic Party’s consistent message. The entirety of her message was anti-Trump. First of all, she would not be running for Governor of Maine against Donald Trump. Trump has been on and shaping the political scene of America for 11 years, and, unfortunately, only has two remaining. Instead of playing the hatred of the Left towards Trump and MAGA, you spend a minute talking about your accomplishments and goals. Being weak on both is why she has to come out as the great protector of Maine from the evil “orange man.”

She bragged about standing up to Trump when the federal government wanted to inspect and verify that there were no non-citizens on Maine’s voter rolls. She does not address her admission on tape that there were known non-citizens on the lists, but that she did not purge them. She bragged about removing Trump from the 2024 ballot because of his part in the January 6 insurrection at the Capitol. She neglects to tell viewers that the courts reversed her action and that Trump was on the ballot. She points out that she stood up to ICE in defiance of Trump’s efforts to rid the country of illegal felons guilty of rape, murder, and crimes against humanity. Apparently, Bellows likes having dangerous individuals threatening the safety of Maine’s neighborhoods, as long as they are not in her neighborhood. She never speaks to her part in increasing fees, restrictions, and taxes making Maine the number 3 state for tax burden on its residents. She does not talk about her role in distorting the verbage on the special election ballot to decide the fate of Voter ID, preserving her desire to have a tainted voter poll favoring Democrats. She never touches on her part in making Maine a Sanctuary State for illegal aliens, but also for minors seeking abortions or transgender services. There is much that Shenna Bellows wants to keep under wraps, and truth be told, she has done little to enhance the lives of Maine residents. She also cannot come up with any original, positive ideas for the future, so why would any Mainer aware of the truth vote for Bellows? There is no reason. So, let’s retire Bellows and Mills and wipe the slate clean of their era.
