I hope you will indulge me for a day to let me express the feelings and emotions that have flooded my heart and mind for the last few years. I started writing Conservative View From New Hampshire in January of 2021, and it has been a daily mission to share my thoughts about the daily happenings in the world. Even a couple of short stints in the hospital have not kept me from my promise to myself to consistently publish daily. I surpassed 1,350 articles published last week, and I feel like we are turning the corner as a country. The previous week’s events, starting with the miraculous escape from near death by former President Donald Trump, have brought a new energy and feeling of unity to the folks on the right. We can see and smell victory ahead in November and are ready to get to work with Donald Trump and J.D. Vance to rebuild this great country.
The Biden term has been more of a submarine than a rollercoaster ride. We have watched this great country destroyed by foolish Progressive policies that have slowed our economy, erased our sovereignty, and spelled doom for the future dreams of America. It feels like many of my articles have been on “Repeat 1,” but that has been the Biden story. His administration worked harder each day to surpass the previous day of bad decisions. It was with incredible sadness that I watched and documented America’s spiraling demise. I wondered how low we could go before this Obama/Biden transformation of America was complete. My hope for America’s future dimmed with each passing day. It has been a depressing and challenging time for my psyche. My close friends share my Right-leaning philosophies, and I know they have shared my angst. We watched our sovereignty destroyed, our presence on the world stage diminished, our land and businesses bought by Chinese nationals, and our military weakened and minimized like never before. It was indeed a dark hour for America. That was until 6:11 last Saturday evening in a field in Pennsylvania.
It is surreal to think a failed assassination attempt could have such a positive impact on half the country, but when Donald Trump rose from that stage with a blood-stained face and a defiant fist raised skyward, he sparked a rebirth. People recognize the strength and resilience of the former President as Biden is sent to quarantine in Delaware with COVID.
My emotions have been supercharged throughout the Republican National Convention. It is not just the positive message spread by every speaker but the depth of the Republican bench. The Dems claim a strong bench, but they are sandlot, while the Republicans are in the Show. My pride and love of America has been rekindled. I am not ashamed about the tears I have shed this week, for they are tears of joy and anticipation. I can see a greater country very soon and am proud to be a MAGA disciple. Those who see MAGA as dangerous are the same people who want to transform America. They had their opportunity, and now it is ours, and we will not waste it.

Amen. I have been on the Trump train since he came down the escalator. I feel as you do that we’re finally getting back on the right track!
