Hakeem Jeffries had been keeping a low profile for a few weeks, and would have done himself a huge favor if he had stayed out of the spotlight. Jeffries surfaced on Tuesday to supposedly answer questions as to why he had a one-on-one meeting with Jared Kushner. He looked and acted like a kid on summer vacation who had just gone to Coney Island, and his Mom bought him a silly green Yankees hat that she told him he would grow into. He won’t.

Instead of taking the opportunity to explain that he met with one of Donald Trump’s trusted advisors and negotiators about the pending agreement with Iran and the affordability issue in the country, he chose to attack and warn Trump that Little Hakeem would be coming after him and his entire cartel. Cartel is what a tough guy without a modicum of respect, like Hakeem calls the administration of the Executive branch, while looking like a cartoon character in a stupid-looking Trump ’28 campaign ad. Instead of going into specifics of the meeting, Jeffies went on the offensive, explaining that nobody in the Trump circle was going to get a pass and that his goal was to prosecute every one of them. Maybe he should put as much effort into solving the issues of the country.

Jeffries wants to weaponize the government to target the Trump administration. Still, I have not heard a word from him about the billions of dollars that have been fraudulently stolen from safety net programs by citizens, politicians, and illegal aliens, the latter funneling funds to terrorist groups in Somalia. Other than some veiled criticism of Hasan Piker, Jeffries has said little about the blatant hatred of the country, constitution, law enforcement/military, and government as a whole. Instead, he has welcomed the DSA into the Party and declared support for some of its candidates. I would like to hear what he knew and when he knew it about Erik Swalwell on both the spy scandal with Fang Fang and the allegations of sexual improprieties.

He had no issue with Platner in Maine and the numerous allegations about his various nefarious activities, including two women accusing Platner of sexual abuse, if not rape. As long as there was a possibility of him beating Susan Collins, Jeffries could easily turn a blind eye. Jeffries may have had some semblance of power when he was the puppet for Nancy Pelosi, but now that she has taken her hand out of his back, he is a feckless, empty politician undeserving of ever being considered for Speaker.

Jeffries, Hockul, Harris, Newsom, and Pritzker continue to show how weak the Democratic bench is, which should pave the way for at least four more years of MAGA. There is absolutely nothing Jeffries can do about the lack of talent in the Democratic dugout, because he is the poster child for talentless politicians.
