It is incredible how quickly the Left identifies people with opposing views and goes on the attack. Have a problem with teaching CRT or The 1619 Project in schools, and you are a racist. Be against the killing of unborn children, and you are misogynistic. Fight against your eight-year-old being taught about transgender and same-sex couples, and you are homophobic. Give them a situation, and they will come up with a label. How about we flip the scale and call out these frauds and hypocrites.
Isn’t it evident that the loudest critics are members of The Squad? They want Republicans Impeached or Censured at every opportunity, and now they want a Supreme Court Justice removed from the bench because of the beliefs and messaging of his wife. She believes there were irregularities in the 2020 election. Did she go too far in support of overturning the outcome? Maybe, but like most of us, she was angry and frustrated, and as time goes on and more information is uncovered, we may have all been justified.
AOC, Omar, and Tlaib are quick to point fingers. Still, they are slow to defend themselves from charges of campaign finance violations, tax issues, immigration improprieties, and blatant ignorance of the Constitution. They are loud, they have the media in their corner, but that does not make them right. They are in the minority and need to be reminded of such.
We are in a battle for the preservation of this country. This is not a Left or Right issue. This is a common-sense matter. We need to be better than the Left with our messaging, and we need to be on point. We need to be relentless in our pressure on our Legislators and recruit the best candidates to be ready for November and 2024.
In addition to the daily efforts to hold the Government accountable, we need to unite behind the Convention of States Action. Many of you have already shown your support by signing the petition, but we need more. We need you active by sending letters and supporting like-minded friends to join us. For those unfamiliar with the Convention of States (COS), here is a quick primer:
WHY CALL A CONVENTION OF STATES?
Simple: to bring power back to the states and the people, where it belongs. Unelected bureaucrats in Washington, D.C. shouldn’t be allowed to make sweeping decisions that impact millions of Americans. But right now, they do. So it all boils down to one question: Who do you think should decide what’s best for you and your family? You, or the feds? We’d vote for the American people every single time.
WHAT’S A CONVENTION OF STATES ANYWAY?
Article V of the U.S. Constitution gives states the power to call a Convention of States to propose amendments. It takes 34 states to call the convention and 38 to ratify any amendments that are proposed. Our convention would only allow the states to discuss amendments that, “limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, impose fiscal restraints, and place term limits on federal officials.”
SO ARE YOU MAKING ANYPROGRESS?
You better believe it! Since the Project launched in 2013, we’ve been spreading like wildfire. With over 3 million supporters nationwide, we have petition signers in every single state house district across America. With the recent victories in West Virginia and South Carolina, we have 19 states ratified and 15 to go. Our goal is to have 34 ratified resolutions before Congress in 2024.
Get off the bench and into the game. Please help us make a difference and save this incredible experiment called America. She is worth it.
