Wake Up, America. It is No Hyperbole That We Are at a Tipping Point

By Ray Cardello for July 2, 2026, Season 32 / Post 9

This is not a drill. This is not a bump in the road like Sandy Cortez winning in New York, Ilhan Omar winning in Little Somalia, Minnesota, or Pramila Jayapal winning in Far-Left Seattle. This is a full-fledged attack by a Socialist movement masquerading as Democrats. Many Democrats are foolishly thinking they are expanding their tent, but these ideologues are taking down long-term Democrats in primary races. They are wolves in sheep’s clothing or a mythical Trojan horse, but they are organized, well-funded, totally indoctrinated, and completely ignorant of the historical fact that Socialism has never been successful. Wherever it has been tried: whether in Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea, Maoist China, the Soviet Union, or Cambodia, it has led to an expansion of the lower class, chronic shortages of consumer goods, agricultural failures (including famines that killed millions), and an economy that ultimately could not compete with Capitalist countries.

This movement professes to be a workers’ campaign, but it is far from that. The DSA is made up primarily of upper-class, white, college-educated individuals who are a product of our indoctrination system that was formerly our Education system. We no longer graduate students who are proficient in the basics and poised to take their place in the economy to produce and thrive. We are allowing teachers and professors to move aside, parents, gain the confidence of our children, and nurture them in the ideals of Socialism and Communism. They are pushed through the 12 or 16 years of schooling like cattle to slaughter, learning little and with any effort to excel suppressed. It is not a system of equal opportunity, but of equity with the goal to produce generations of uneducated, impressionable, young people, who have been taught to hate Capitalism, patriotism, our history, and country. These pseudo-educators have succeeded in their mission, and the twenty-eight Progressive candidates who have won their primaries in predominantly blue districts, which means that in January of 2027, they will take their seats in Congress, are the fruit of this tainted process. My first question, and I have many, is: Will any of these Socialists place their hand on a Bible or pledge their commitment to the Constitution? To do so would be the height of hypocrisy, but it raises the question of whether someone can serve in our Government when they cannot pledge allegiance to it.

At a time when we should be united in our celebration of our country’s 250th birthday, we are divided in our hope for her future. Some of us want to see this grand experiment continue long into the future, while the rest want to see it crumble to dust. We are at a tipping point where the words of Ronald Reagan are ringing in our ears: “Freedom is a fragile thing, and it’s never more than one generation away from extinction.” The other half of the country has never heard those words.

We cannot sit idly on the sidelines and wait for this movement to pass. They are hell-bent on growing and continuing to replace incumbents of both Parties, until they have control of our government. We cannot allow that to gain traction. We must work locally to support anyone targeted by these Progressives. Their primary win must be their last. We must educate the public about the peril ahead if we do nothing, and we must take these candidates down as quickly as they rose to prominence. The Patriots fought to get this country started, and it is now on us to fight to ensure its future.

Author’s Note: Graphics created by Grok AI. Grok’s comments about the images:

#1: A Trojan horse (symbolizing the socialist infiltration) rolling into a divided American political landscape, with patriotic defenders on one side and shadowy progressive figures on the other. Deep, symbolic, and fitting the “wolves in sheep’s clothing” theme.

#2: A tipping balance in a landscape transitioning from classroom indoctrination to congressional power, highlighting the socialism vs. capitalism contrast and the “fruit” of the education system. This works perfectly as your secondary image.
