Two Speeches. Two Examples of Incompetence

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris made appearances this week. Joe and Kamala should not make appearances. Both of them performed horribly and highlighted the void we have for leadership in the White House. Joe showed how many lies he could pack into one speech, and Kamala showed how she could not think on the fly. Joe and Kamala should not make appearances.

Biden went to Philadelphia; he loves Pennsylvania, the birthplace of the U.S. constitution, to charge that Republican maneuvering is putting democracy in the worst peril since the Civil War. The speech in the city where the founding document of the U.S. democratic system was drawn up and signed in 1787 was Biden’s highest-profile foray yet into a controversy that both Republicans and Democrats describe in dire terms.

According to the White House and Congressional Democrats, Republicans are using state legislatures to restrict voting rights across the country under the guise of increasing election security. Biden’s speech was meant to pressure Senate Democrats to eliminate the filibuster to federalize local elections and solidify permanent power for the left. Senators Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema have maintained they will not vote to remove it as a legislative tool, which Republicans and Democrats use.

Biden was delivering his hyperbole and lie-filled oratory as the entire group of Democrat Texas State Representatives loaded themselves, along with a supply of Miller Lite, onto two private jets and escaped their responsibility in the Texas Legislature. They became fugitives from Texas to prevent a quorum and a vote on a new Texas Voting Reform Law. They proclaim themselves as heroes of democracy, and the idiots, yes, I had to use that term, were more excited in every cable new room than any day since Biden beat Trump. Their claim was as ludicrous as Biden continuing to compare state actions to pass voter laws with the Civil War. I realize Biden has no idea what he is saying or doing but shame on his handlers for putting these words on his teleprompter. Whenever he speaks, he brings the Presidency to a new low. Damn, our enemies must be overjoyed watching Biden bring down our Republic.

While Biden was making a fool of himself in Philly, Kamala Harris was in Washington D.C. meeting with the Texas Fugitives. They shut down the Texas Legislature rather than performing their responsibility to vote on the proposed voting law. Harris told the group, “Defending the right of the American people to vote is as American as apple pie,”

Harris praised the politicians for their “courageous stand” and “patriotism,” saying they made great sacrifices to protect voting rights. She said she wanted to put their efforts in historical context, comparing them to Frederick Douglass appealing for black men to vote in 1867 and the 1913 suffragette march on Washington. Hyperbole is contagious in the Biden White House. “And in 2021, the Texas Legislature came to Washington, DC,” Harris said. She went on to say the Texans were “marching in the path that so many others before did when they fought and many died for our right to vote.”

These two politicians are talking about state bills written to ensure credible elections, tighten security, and allow more people more accessible means to vote. In no way have any of the current reform bills inhibited voting for any individual or group. To listen to Biden and Harris with their attention-grabbing hyperbole, you would think that the states were reverting to only allow white male land-owners to right to vote. Again, Democrats do not bring facts but only emotions to the table. Their obedient talking heads on the Main Stream Media lap it all up without question.

The Democrats will not win. They do not have the votes to pass H.R. 1. They do not have strong arguments against any of the bills they are protesting, but in their minds, each conjures up visions of devastation greater than the 600,000 lost lives of the Civil War. What an irresponsible comparison, and it only helps to defeat their argument. I am checking off the 26 days the Texas Legislators have vowed to stay in Washington and look forward to the image of Governor Abbott meeting their planes in Dallas and placing them all under arrest. It will be an excellent photo-op.
